HARDY GERANIUMS

Here's an unidentified Hardy Geranium I got from a small start given to me by a friend. Obviously I don't recall its name, but as you can see it a real bloomer. Plus as an added bonus the Autumn foliage is spectacular in shades for reds, oranges, and golds.

Hardy geraniums are really unsung heroes in the garden, aren't they? Mine looks similar to your photo, I don't know its name either, but I pay no attention to it and it just blooms and blooms!

I don't think I had heard of hardy geraniums until last year when I got one with the plants for the rain garden. I was really impressed with how it grows. Sorry to say the deer love it and now most of the leaves and flowers are gone but I am sure it will make a spectacular come back.

Sorry about the deer. In this area the deer generally don't go after them, unless really hungry. I assuming Butch doesn't chase them?
