EVENING

Here's a photo of a sunflower in the garden catching the last rays of sunshine.
In the near future I'll share more sunflower shots.
All the best, BOB

Ooooh, that's REALLY pretty. Do you know what that one is called? We've got several sunflowers, too, and I think when you take pictures of them, they turn out more like a painting. Very lovely!

Oh, and of course I don't mind that you've linked my blog on yours! :-)

Hi Bob!

Thanks for passing by my blog yesterday! I am sorry to tell you that the deadline for my lupine seeds give away was already closed when you commented. The winners are now being announced on my blog!

But what do you think of a little seed swap? I adore that sunflower and if you collect its seeds later on this summer..... ;-))

By the way, your last post on verbena bonariensis was very interesting! I have it in my garden since some weeks, too!

Best wishes from Germany,
Anita

P.S.: Thanks for linking me!

Very nice. I too would be interested know what kind it is. Have not planted any sunflowers in the beds yet. That one looks like an exceptional one.

Have a good weekend-Cliff

Kylee, This is from a mixed packet I grow every year. The Packet is Hybrid are called 'Autumn Beauty'. This packet produces about 10 different variations from lemon yellow to gold , to two tones to burgundy. If you like I'll send you some seeds of this one. Just let me know.
All the best, BOB

Becky, glad you stop by. I understand you are in the
Northwest, roughly where abouts?
Always enjoy your blog.

Anita, would be glad to send you some seeds of this sunflower. Also growing a hybrid called 'velvet queen'. It's the darkest richest burgundy sunflower I've seen. Let me know if you would like some and we'll arrange it.
wishing you all the best.BOB

That is a beauty! I'll be back to check on the others you have. I have only one red one this year, after having many last year. The slugs really did a number on the seedlings.
