COMBINATIONS -- FOLIAGE COLOUR AND FORM
Throughout this Summer I'll share combinations that I like in my garden. Combinations can really make or break a landscape. It's important to me because I see many gardens with great plants but unfortunately they are placed next to something that distracts from their beauty rather than enhancing it. I hope the "combinations" posts well inspire :)

Thank goodness you are on the west coast and can't see my plant combinations!!! You would go running and screaming from the midwest vowing never to return!!! I have what I call the "gota have it all syndrome". This causes many color problems in the garden. The main problem is the, oh my god what was I thinking putting those two colors together!!!!!!
I enjoy your posts Bob and wish I had your plant knowledge and eye for plant combinations. Keep posting them maybe I'm learn something.
Cliff, thanks for the kind words. I'd never go running or screaming from anybodys garden (unless they were chasing me with a knife). You have some really cool plants. All gardening is good. I'm glad people take an interest in it. I can't understand why some folks dont do anything to their yard.
Keep up the great gardening and your wonderful blog, Bob
Love the yellow with the purple. Beautiful.
What gorgeous foliage color combo! I have lots of folage plants, so I really need to get more creative...
