He is not the gardening type which is nice. That way I can do as I please in the garden.

Gardening is my therapy also.KC MO Garden Guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11271882234701140704noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2501158541891921575.post-34176854548405261412007-06-13T16:08:00.000-07:002007-06-13T16:08:00.000-07:00I really understand, recently my partner and I bro...I really understand, recently my partner and I broke up, so this year I've spent a lot more time in the garden. It's been great therapy.
Something about working in the dirt. The garden has been benefitting more due to some extra time on my hands.
But I still forgot the cages :<

BobBobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18426398682131679870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2501158541891921575.post-12842369812796165472007-06-13T10:43:00.000-07:002007-06-13T10:43:00.000-07:00Great place for the Peonie cages!! I planted some 5 years ago and this is the first year that I got a good show out of them. I bought several new ones for this year and they are still in the pots. There just aren't enough hours in the day!KC MO Garden Guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11271882234701140704noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2501158541891921575.post-70317271834239449072007-06-12T11:58:00.000-07:002007-06-12T11:58:00.000-07:00Hey Bob,Nice blog and I have to second Andrea-the ...Hey Bob,

Nice blog and I have to second Andrea-the Peonies are wonderful.MrBrownThumbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11326733084344581944noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2501158541891921575.post-8217674855417776732007-06-11T22:21:00.000-07:002007-06-11T22:21:00.000-07:00bob, there's something about a blowsy, floppy flow...bob, there's something about a blowsy, floppy flower in the garden that just can't be beat! I love the look of your uncaged peonies. I saw some over the weekend that were caged to within an inch of their life and they looked just like they had been grown in a vase! I'll take your look any day!LostRoseshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06586462466899344347noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2501158541891921575.post-39440993703080582952007-06-11T16:09:00.000-07:002007-06-11T16:09:00.000-07:00Thanks Andrea, Yes it sounds like they are planted...Thanks Andrea, Yes it sounds like they are planted to deep or they are not getting enough sun. In addition, Peonies do not like to be moved. So if they are in a new location they sometimes take up to 2 years to get their feet in the ground. When you relocate them, plant them high.
Thanks for the kind words, and fell free to ask any questions.
All the best, BobBobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18426398682131679870noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2501158541891921575.post-22194980158876705832007-06-11T01:05:00.000-07:002007-06-11T01:05:00.000-07:00Beautiful peonies!!
