ReplyDeleteNice post! I like your spider, and your bulbs remind me that I have a few coming in the mail soon. Usually, I'm kinds burned out by now but this year has been so hot that all I ever really did was water stuff. I'm really looking forward to cooler temps so I can get some work done!

ReplyDeleteI noticed a cool down yesterday and boy does it feel good!!!! I am honored you added me to your blog roll! I noticed the spider as well, I have an abundance of writing spiders. I was thinking about putting in some new bulbs, but haven't chosen a particular type.. Now that it is getting cooler, I better get thinking.

Dirty fingers, would love to hear what bulbs you selected. I get the bulk of mine at box stores and costco. They are cheap and seem to preform will for me.
I am seeing the signs in my garden also. The mums are starting to open and the back yard needs to be mowed not because the grass is long but to get the leaves off. I haven't bought any bulbs yet. Mom is going to dig up some of hers for me so I might wait to see what I get from her. Thanks for sharing you beautiful pictures of fall. Cliff
ReplyDeleteGreat to see the bulbs you've selected. For the first time I have bought hyacinths, even though I sneeze like crazy when I am around them. I didn't buy pastels though I like the colors you've selected much more now that I see those. I've got a few more allium sensations to put in place. Saw in a garden magazine how they planted them between the phlox and it looked great, so I may try that. Andrea
ReplyDeleteBoy, isn't that the truth about spiders this time of year! I try not to walk under trees if I can help it. EVery time I do, I run into a creepy crawly.
